We are excited to announce that we have just released a brand new version of Fussy Vegan Pro for iOS. Almost every page of the app has been refreshed or redesigned. We have also improved performance of the app significantly.

Some of the updates include:

- You can now save product, menu item, restaurant and recipe listings directly in the native Apple Reminders app. No need to login to the app to create and save lists. You can create a new list and add to an existing Reminders list directly from within the app.

- New user interface. Most of the app pages have a new and refreshed user interface. The app should still feel familiar, but those that have been using the app will notice the difference, but will still be able to find their way around the app.

- The vegan status and restaurant status icons have been replaced with a brand new vegan meter icon.

- Product Guides and Food Chain guides have been updated and refreshed.

- We have added an instructional video link to the "No product found" page so that app users that want to submit a product for verification are aware of the type and amount of photos required when submitting a support ticket.

- We have a new status for medications called "No Animal Ingredients". As all medications have been tested on animals, we were previously listings them as "Caution" if they did not contain any animal derived ingredients. This meant that no medications would appear when using the vegan filter. Whilst we can't start saying that medications are vegan when they have been tested on animals, the new status will appear when using the vegan filter (when the medication does not contain any animal derived ingredients).

FAQ

Will there be a new app for Android?

Yes, we have plans to release a brand new Android version soon.

Is there any cost to upgrade to the new app?

No, there is no additional cost. If you currently have Fussy Vegan Pro, then you get the upgrade for free to the new version.

What happened to the rating and review feature?

This feature was removed as it was not really being utilised but a majority of app users. This also means that with the change of the lists to the Apple Reminder integration, app users are no longer required to login to the app to access any additional features.

Can I still access my lists I created in the previous version?

Unfortunately, there is no way to access the previous lists. With the new Apple Reminders integration, your lists will always be accessible to you on any of your Apple devices, independent of the app. This also means that your list data will no longer need to be stored on our server.
