FAQ For New Zealand App Users

How many NZ sold products are currently in the app database?

We currently have around 10,000 NZ sold products in the app database, mainly products that are also sold in Australia, but we do have quite a few products that are sold in NZ but not Australia in the database. We will be continuing to add NZ specific products into the database over the coming months.



What if I scan a product and it is not in the database?

Anytime you come across a product that is not in the app database, you can simply lodge a product verification request directly from the app. Our support team will then verify the vegan status of the product and advise you of the results. Our support team is available 365 days per year and 24 hours per day. Depending on how many product verification requests are being lodged on any one day will depend on how quickly we are able to respond to your request.



Does the optional VIP Access subscription have features for New Zealand?

There are a number of exclusive VIP Access features that would be suitable for users in New Zealand. The features that are not currently available for NZ app users are the supermarket pricing, supermarket specials and supermarket availability/filters. How do I see the "Available in New Zealand" and "Made in New Zealand" product search filters?


Go to the settings tab (on the main menu bar at the bottom of the app) and then change your default country to New Zealand (the app will default to Australia when you first download the app). Once you have changed the default country to NZ, you can then go back to the product search and you will see both NZ specific filters. * Please note that we have to manually add the available in NZ option for every product that we have in the database that is available in NZ.  This will take some time, so please be patient if the filter does not show as many results as you expected.
